Anthony Singer, JD is a partner in the law firm of Woodard,  Hernandez, Roth & Day, LLC. Mr. Singer defends healthcare providers in medical malpractice actions and has represented healthcare professionals in licensing matters before the Kansas Board of Healing Arts and the Kansas Board of Nursing. He has been practicing law since 1998 and is licensed in the State and Federal Courts of Kansas, the State and Federal Courts of Nebraska, the Federal Courts of Colorado and the United States Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit. 

Dr. Bob Twillman, PhD is the Executive Director of the Academy of Integrative Pain Management (formerly the American Academy of Pain Management). In that capacity, Dr. Twillman is responsible for guiding the organization in its efforts to promote an integrative approach to managing pain. He formerly served the Academy for four years as its Director of Policy and Advocacy. Dr. Twillman received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of California in Los Angeles, and maintains a volunteer faculty appointment as Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University Of Kansas School Of Medicine in Kansas City, KS. Prior to working for the Academy, Dr. Twillman was a full-time faculty member at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where he founded and directed the inpatient pain management program and was a co-founder of the hospital's Palliative Care Team. Dr. Twillman also serves as Chair of the Prescription Monitoring Program Advisory Committee for the Kansas Board of Pharmacy. 

Dr. David Willey, MD is the acting Unit Director of the Substance Use Disorders Unit at Cottonwood Springs Behavorial Health Hospital in Olathe, Kansas. He is a graduate of the University of Kansas Medical Center where he completed his general psychiatry training and a fellowship specializing in Addiction Psychiatry. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both General Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry. Dr. Willey has received numerous honors that include the Shawn M. Memorial Award, Chief Resident of Psychiatry, Student Voice Award for Excellence in Teaching and the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award. He has worked in various institutions around the Kansas City area and is involved with numerous organizations in the efforts to address substance use-related issues in the state of Kansas.

Dr. Scott Zeller, Vice-President of the 2,000-physician partnership CEP America, of Emeryville, California, leading the Acute Psychiatric Medicine Practice Line, and creating emergency psychiatry solutions for hospitals around the country. For 28 years, Dr. Zeller was Chief of Psychiatric Emergency Services, Alameda Health System, Oakland, California, one of the busiest such programs in the country, seeing over 1,600 crisis patients per month; Dr. Zeller has personally treated over 80,000 emergency patients. Dr. Zeller is an Assistant Clinical Professor at both the University of California-Riverside and Touro University medical schools, and is Past-President of the American Association for Emergency Psychiatry. Dr. Zeller lectures as a keynote speaker internationally, has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, is co-editor of the textbook “Emergency Psychiatry: Principles and Practice”, and has a new textbook, “The Diagnosis and Management of Agitation”, to be published this year. He created and led the multicenter Project BETA, ‘best practices for the evaluation and treatment of agitation’, which produced guidelines which have been successfully implemented in hundreds of hospitals around the world; he was also a lead author on the 2016 International Guidelines for Agitation. For his work and innovative research in psychiatry, and for his efforts toward reducing coercion in emergency care, the National Council for Behavioral Health in Washington, DC named Dr. Zeller the 2015 USA Mental Health ‘Doctor of the Year’. He also recently received the Holloman Award for Lifetime Achievement in Emergency Psychiatry.
